Suzi Analogue ZONEZ On A New Instrumental Tape

Creator of Never Normal drops her first instrumental “audio/visual moodboard”  with us: ZONEZ V.1. The music, premiered first by Thump/VICE with an interview is now available for download via Bandcamp, and is a free download today until 3pm EST. Suzi shares more insight on the tape:

ZONEZ is scored to real life. It’s less a tape. More a movie. Listen straight through to get it. The concept for ZONEZ is creating music using sounds that trigger not only auditory but visual senses. The sound is created by a woman, and each track has builds that essentially asks for the listeners to be a part of the build. It’s actually an audio moodboard that’s the start of a bigger experience.

Original artwork for the tape comes as a collaboration between Suzi and visual artist, Nate James as part of a series they are experimenting with –  but that’s not where the collaborations end. ZONEZ features vocals from emerging artists like Nappy Nappa, whom Suzi is currently working with on upcoming releases.
